UTMB 100 Miles Finisher 2026 and Tor des Géants 330K Finisher 2025, with several age-group podiums in UTMB World Series races over the years, Alessandro Rostagno has been training with Arduua since 2023, building his strength, endurance and experience year after year towards the highest level of ultra-trail racing.cing.Alessandro Rostagno has been training with Arduua since 2023, building his strength, endurance and experience year after year towards his biggest trail running dream — reaching the finish line in Chamonix.
Alessandro’s journey into trail running started long before UTMB. After years of mountain biking, he switched focus to running in the mountains in 2019. At first, even running continuously for an hour was a challenge. But then he discovered UTMB — and a dream was born.
Over the following years, Alessandro gradually developed as an ultra-trail runner, taking on increasingly demanding mountain races and gaining the experience needed for the biggest challenges.
Since joining Arduua in 2023, structured and consistent training has been an important part of that progression. Together with Arduua, he continued building season after season, completing UTMB World Series races and eventually earning his place at UTMB Mont-Blanc.
In 2026, years of work came together:
🏁 UTMB Mont-Blanc – 171 km / 10,000 D+
⏱️ 27h17
🔥 191th overall
From a biker who initially struggled to run for an hour to becoming a UTMB 100M finisher, Alessandro’s story shows what can happen when a big dream is combined with patience, consistency and long-term training.
It wasn’t about one training block or one race preparation. It was a progression built over years — learning, training, racing and becoming stronger step by step.
From dreaming about UTMB to finishing UTMB. Dreams are built one step at a time.
