Register for Race Coaching on our website. Payment is made by credit card with automatic monthly renewal.
You can pause, change, or cancel your subscription at any time.
2. Complete your first steps
After sign-up, you will receive an automatic email with instructions. Your first tasks are:
2.1. Fill out your Health & Training Questionnaire
Here you share your goals, race plans, physical status, injury history, training availability,
running background, and training tools. This provides the foundation for designing your individualized yearly plan.
2.2. Set up TrainingPeaks Premium
Race Coaching includes a TrainingPeaks Premium account.
If you don’t already have TrainingPeaks, download it at

3. Start your Upstart Week (Build Your Plan)
If you complete the steps above before Friday at 12:00 (noon), your Build Your Plan start-up week
will begin the following Monday.
During this week, you will complete:
- Easy run test
- Threshold test (to set accurate heart-rate zones)
- Strength & mobility test (video format)
- Running-form video analysis
- Optional: upload lab stress-test results
- Video call with your coach
These steps give your coach all the information needed to build your individualized yearly training plan.
4. Your yearly training plan
Based on your questionnaire and test results, your coach creates your
individualized yearly training plan, structured around your A, B, and C races,
your available training days, the phases of your season, and your long-term fitness goals.
5. Weekly training blocks
Your coach delivers your training one week at a time. Each week, your plan is updated according to your progress,
training data, physical status, and life schedule — ensuring your training evolves with you throughout the year.
6. Weekly Training Review & Coach Interaction
With Race Coaching, your coach reviews your training once per week inside TrainingPeaks.
All communication is kept in TrainingPeaks to keep coaching organized and clear.
6.1. Weekly Summary
Throughout the week, you write your questions and reflections in your Weekly Summary in TrainingPeaks.
During the Weekly Training Review, your coach answers everything in one consolidated reply.
6.2. Weekly Training Review
Your coach analyzes your full week of training and comments on all your training sessions
as well as your Weekly Summary.
6.3. Communication through TrainingPeaks
TrainingPeaks is the main communication channel for ongoing coaching.
Email is used only for general support.
7. Monthly Video Meeting with Your Coach
Race Coaching includes one personal video meeting each month for deeper guidance.
During your call, your coach will:
• Review your progress in detail
• Adjust your strategy, training, or race preparation
• Discuss specific concerns, nutrition, or gear
• Plan the upcoming training block and key sessions
Pre-work and post-work are included:
Your coach prepares before the call and updates your plan afterward with all decisions and adjustments.
8. Questions, Personal Coaching & Support
Within Race Coaching, personal coaching is provided weekly through your TrainingPeaks review
plus one monthly video call.
